I’m a mom of three, an attorney by day, and someone who has learned to find wonder in the midst of Zoom meetings and email, wiping food off the floor and washing dishes. I created my blog Tangible as a space to offer nourishment and community to “orphaned believers and skeptical dreamers,” in the words of Over the Rhine.

I provide spiritual direction, host retreats and other contemplative experiences, facilitate workshops—and this work with people in tender spaces informs my thinking and the writing that flows from it.

When I’m not writing or baking bread, you’ll find me walking the trails of Rock Creek Park or hosting friends around our table. I live with my husband Nate and our three children in our 16-foot-wide DC home—the English basement of which has become Rock Creek Sanctuary, our micro retreat space.
