Facilitation | Jeannie Rose Barksdale

Facilitation & Retreat Leadership for teams, boards, and organizations.

Custom gatherings for teams, boards, and organizations.

I help organizations create meaningful gatherings that go beyond the typical offsite, for faith-based and secular organizations alike. Whether you’re navigating a strategic transition, building team culture, or simply need a reset, I bring contemplative practices into corporate and nonprofit settings in ways that feel accessible and grounded.

What I Offer

  • Strategic planning retreats
  • Mission & vision discernment
  • Team-building workshops
  • Discernment exercises
  • Board development sessions
  • Other custom gatherings for your needs, developed in collaboration with you

My Approach

Trained as a lawyer and spiritual director, I weave together strategic thinking with contemplative practice. Depending on the audience’s needs, that might mean opening with a few minutes of silence, building in time for reflection, or using creative exercises to surface what a standard agenda would miss.

The result is work that’s both productive and restorative: A renewed commitment to the mission. A foundation of trust among teammates. Decisions that stick because they come from a deeper place.

Past Clients Include

  • Nonprofit boards and leadership teams
  • Faith-based organizations
  • Church groups
  • Professional affinity groups
